A shared WhatsApp inbox for your team

WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger conversations arrive in one shared inbox. Assign each one to a teammate, discuss it in internal notes, and see how much time is left in the 24-hour window to reply.

WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger in one shared inbox

WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger conversations arrive in one shared inbox, with the channel shown on every conversation.

Built-in views include Unresolved, Assigned to me and Mentions, and the inbox opens on Unresolved. You can mark a conversation open, pending, snoozed or solved, and one left open or pending when its 24-hour window closes shows as expired.

Assign each conversation to a teammate

Each conversation can be assigned to a teammate, and the inbox list shows who is handling it. Teams can share new conversations by round robin, by whoever is least busy, or by manual pickup.

Each member gets one of seven roles: org owner, workspace admin, team lead, agent, marketer, developer or finance admin. The server enforces what each role can do, so an agent can reply only to conversations assigned to them or not yet assigned.

Internal notes and @mentions

Internal notes stay inside RelayPlus and are never sent to the customer, and an @mention in a note notifies that teammate and puts the conversation in their Mentions view.

Replies inside the 24-hour window

Each conversation shows how much time is left in the 24-hour window for replying to the customer. Once the window closes, RelayPlus stops free-form replies on WhatsApp and offers your approved templates instead.

Each template in that list shows its estimated cost before you send it.

Faster replies, and delivery status on WhatsApp

Saved quick replies can be inserted by typing / in the reply box. On WhatsApp, agents can quote a specific message in their reply and react to a customer's message with an emoji.

On WhatsApp, each message you send shows sent, delivered and read, and a message that fails shows the reason it failed.

How it works

  1. Connect your number

Your number connects to Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API directly, not through a reseller.

  2. Invite your team

Give each member one of seven roles, and choose how new conversations are shared: round robin, least busy or manual pickup.

  3. Answer together

Assign each conversation, discuss it in internal notes, and reply before the 24-hour window closes.

Questions people ask

Can several people answer the same WhatsApp number?

Yes. Conversations arrive in one shared inbox, each one can be assigned to a teammate, and the inbox list shows who is handling it. An agent can reply only to conversations assigned to them or not yet assigned.

Which channels does the team inbox cover?

WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. Conversations from all three arrive in one shared inbox, with the channel shown on every conversation.

What happens when the 24-hour window closes?

Each conversation shows how much time is left in the window. Once it closes, RelayPlus stops free-form replies on WhatsApp and offers your approved templates instead, each showing its estimated cost before you send it.

Do replies inside the 24-hour window cost anything?

They can. Since 1 October 2026, Meta charges for replies that are not templates, sent within the 24-hour customer service window, after a free tier of 1,000 a month for each business phone number. Without a payment method on the account, Meta delivers these replies only within those 1,000.

Can teammates discuss a conversation without the customer seeing?

Yes. Internal notes stay inside RelayPlus and are never sent to the customer. An @mention in a note notifies that teammate and puts the conversation in their Mentions view.

Does RelayPlus work in Arabic?

Yes. The RelayPlus app is available in English and Arabic, with a right-to-left layout in Arabic.
